My trips are short, like 6 miles. Includes one long sloping mountain, up and down. I've only put 683 miles on it since I bought the truck April 27, 2021. Running the 93 octane. Averaging 20.2 mpg in regular Drive mode (other than locking out a few gears when I go down the hill).

Same as ^mtbikernate on a trip recently but I was pushing it hard on the interstates. Averaged 22.3 and my tires are one size up from stock.

Fuel capacity per page 319 of the owners manual is 18.8 gallons.

When we picked up our brand spanking shiny new 2019 Ranger SuperCab at the dealership the "Miles To E " display showed "0 " miles of fuel remaining, and the out of fuel chime was ringing.

We drove about 3 blocks and filled up the tank with 91 Octane Top Tier gasoline.

It took 18.524 gallons before it shut off the pump.

21.1 mpg at ~10,700 miles and just about 1yr of ownership. Mostly city driving and I'm surrounded by stop signs/signal lights ~1.5 miles in all directions. Not great mileage, but it's a truck, so...

Any more advanced options than fuelly that use a ODB device. Looking for better tracking of highway/city rather than just fuelly's %

That's not a contest I want to win. I drive easy 80% of the time to keep it above 20 mpg.
I'd love a bigger lift an 33" tires but I have a mental block with getting under that 20 mark LOL.

I've been using the Fuelly app for the past month. In that time...
  • I've driven 1,855 miles
  • Refueled 9 times
  • Used 85 gallons of usually 87 octane ethanol blend
  • Total cost: $239.67
  • Average price per gallon of $2.82
  • Average price per mile of $0.117
  • 74.6 mile round trip drive to and from work on mostly county highways
  • The app tells me I'm averaging 24.2 mpg with a best of 25.5
  • My truck's computer is telling me that I'm averaging 25.6 mpg.
  • Currently sitting at 25,415 miles
