I filled up last night at 380 miles. Took 17.007 gallons. That gives me 22.34 MPG. Gauge showed 23.5, so not a bad indication.

I have only used 87 octane in the truck so far. I might try 91 to see if the truck feels different, once I get through the break in period. (I am NOT trying to start an octane debate)

I have 1000 miles on the truck so far, so I expect these numbers to fluctuate until the truck settles in and I develop a driving style for the truck. Right now, my driving style is: "I have no idea how this truck handles"... I came from a Kia Forte, so it's a totally different animal.

If you want to adjust the dash to match your hand calculation you can do in from the post below. Mine was always at least 1.5 mpg off and now it's dead on. I started at 944 and it did take several (5-6) fill ups to fully adjust.

Interesting. All the Wawa stores have ethanol free and have since I can remember. They even have a permanent spot allocated for it in their digital sign. Hope it doesn't go away. Guess if it does there's always marina fuel by ValvTect. Luckily there are 4 of 5 options on the river without even going out to the intercostal waterway or a trip in the gulf.

I’d recommend Shell or PetroCan to be honest. Best treatment rates of DCA’s. Ethanol is creeping into the back woods north of 7 slowly and surely.. I know when I go up to Lake Huron the gas there was no ethanol but that has changed within the last year. Most refineries now have ethanol tanks for blending not just the bulk terminals.

2021 Tremor with 35psi cold about 20.0-21.5mpg mostly hwy

Drove from Vegas to Long Beach over mothers day weekend, got some traffic to LA but went down to sea level, still got 21.xx MPG trying to stay at 75mph. Got plenty of traffic from El Cajon pass to Long beach so the MPG was good news.

Coming back I was more enthusiastic to leave CA so I was going 80mph with some burst of speed to pass vehicles, still got 20.4mpg or so. I only did pump math on the way to CA and I was within 0.2mpg of the display. The 20.4mpg was display reading.

Overall happy. Street driving the verdict is still out. Vegas heat is already 90F+ and our red lights are a bit long. Still seem to be landing somewhere in the 16-18mpg range but no hard facts on that yet. I also remote start the Ranger a few mins before leaving to warm it up nicely especially on the first 2000miles

2020 xlt 4x2 stock with tonneau cover roughly 8k miles..calculated 27.1 mpg. I think it was within 0.2 of the dash number

It's a great looking truck Jack. Sadly sometimes the things we want for our vehicles aren't the best thing for the mpgs, but we wants what we wants. I'm trying as hard as I can to keep mine basically stock for that reason.

I still only have about 5200 miles on the odometer and I've owned it over a year now so the gas bill has been pretty minimal. If I had to drive it daily I'd probably pull all my cargo boxes and stuff off when not in use. I know prior to the rack-rework (which included the side pods) I was getting 18.2 shortly after having the tune installed (which actually increased my MPG from 16.2).

I also live in an area where 93 fluctuates between the low $2 range to the low $3 range just depending on the oil climate. So I am not stuck in say up north or out west where the norm is high.

My same road trip, brought some more stuff to the house. Mixed driving from cruising at 70, 50-55 & some stop & go. Same driving habits all in S mode 87 oct even had the a/c on getting 23.5 this trip. My life time average is up to 22.6 almost 29000 miles. Got to test out my Accent Vanish tonneau cover keeping things dry. Did very well nothing got wet
