Here I thought I had a lot of time on my hands..You have me beat. ?
It's what happens when you only sleep 6hrs and wake up at 2am (besides a lot of reading time lol). This is what you get to look forward to but the non-dampered will only be able to get 1.5 hrs...?

I am puzzled at the fact that I seem to have lost about 1 mpg after installing my new exhaust, dual port BOV, and making the switch from 87 to 91 octane fuel. I haven’t used the trip function to check but will now. Maybe she just needs to get used to the new setup. I also have a theory that maybe you need to be running a tuner if you install an aftermarket cat-back exhaust. I was expecting to gain mpg so I’m going to watch this closely...

It may be due to the winter gas. I've lost 1-2 MPG in the last month or so. I had been getting 1-2 MPG better when I switched to premium, but that has been lost due to the winter gas.

I lose 2 mpg on winter gas....a little less if it's a warm period. If it's 30's or lower I lose up to 3 mpg. It doesn't help that I remote start it to warm up if it's under 35 degrees out an I idle in line for coffee. No coffee in the summer.

I have never averaged over 16.5 mpg for a tank however, I tend to drive like it's stolen. If I pay attention right after I fill it up I can usually manage to keep it around 19-20 but that never lasts. I have NEVER had it stay above 21 unless I have just filled up and am coasting. I don't believe it's anything wrong with the vehicle because I also get poor comparative rates in my Lincoln.

I know I will never be the old man that people get pissed off because they're stuck behind him.

I’ve only used 91 octane. Have 2800km and have never done better than 19mpg (12.5l/100km)on a tank. That’s mostly hwy trying to get good mileage. This is in Ontario. Anyone else from around here get better mileage?

In the winter I lose 10% but I've always gotten over 18 in the winter an around 21 summer. I tend to baby 80% of the time an jump on it passing idiots or if I'm in a hurry. Octane an tune don't seem to be affecting mileage, just the smile on my face when I jump on it.

2020 Ranger XLT with 301A. With Tonnaeu cover,
Tires: Bridgestone Dueler A/T 255/65/17R,
As of today I'm at 1564 Km/ or 972mi.

In town easy driving in DRIVE mode, I get about 12L/100km or 19.6 mpg
on the Hiway at 100km/hr or 60 mph I get 10 L/100km or 23.5 mpg
Using regular gas. 87 oct.
Now I'm switching to Shell or Esso 91 Octane . I read that 91 Octane in general does not have ethanol. Also I read that it's the ethanol that creates a lot of the carbon build up on the intake valves.
Anecdotally I think that the sweat spot for best mileage on the Hiway is at 100kmh or 60 mph. At 10th gear the RPM is around 1600. on flat road at this speed.

Yes in 90% of the rest of the world metric is King. And BTW allot of the Ranger has metric nuts and bolts. Remember Ford has been building the ranger in Europe and Australia for the last 6-7 years. and it comes with a 4 cylinder diesel.
Liters are the measurement of volume and mpg is rated in how many liters one gets per 100Km as weird as that may sound. But Because I grew up with mpg and Liters/100km, I prefer mpg. Just sounds easier. So the vehicles in Canada actually display on the instrument display liters/100km... It would be nice if some one could hack the software so that I could choose mpg. :)
