Do you remember where the spring gate was located in the muffler. On the outlet pipe somewhere? I would like to attempt to eliminate it, knowing the location would help me make it a less invasive surgery lol!Yes I cut it open to find the spring loaded gate. I ended up doing the muffler delete. I don't know if it helped the performance but i like the sound.
Just having fun of course, but something appears to be gained. Not something anyone is going to dyno. The guy on FB did use a draggy. You can't seriously believe him?
Can you?
I don’t have FB account but I do believe everything people tell me they read on there.I believe everything on FB.
Doesn't everyone?
I just went out on lunch and whacked it off with a 5' piece of wood. So far I've not noticed any difference in procedure with the longer tool.I measured my jack handle and it's only 30" so I think my muffler will continue on unbashed.....for now. Tools are everything I've heard it said.
Me neither, but I stealthily use my wife's account to buy and sell there.I don’t have FB account but I do believe everything people tell me they read on there.
Maybe. I don't MyFaceyTwit so I don't know.I believe everything on FB.
Doesn't everyone?
Apparently you missed your typo.Just having fun of course, but something appears to be gained. Not something anyone is going to dyno. The guy on FB did use a draggy.
Haha oops, meant a 1/10 second. Should only have to spend $699 for like 1.5s with this truck and an OZ tune.Maybe. I don't MyFaceyTwit so I don't know.
Apparently you missed your typo.
You said a 1 second gain in the 1/8th mile.
People spend THOUSANDS for that type of gains.
This is nothing but a placebo effect.
A tenth of second in the 1/8th could be caused by literally anything.Haha oops, meant a 1/10 second. Should only have to spend $699 for like 1.5s with this truck and an OZ tune.
Anything.. like a power increase caused by a slightly better flowing exhaust? ?A tenth of second in the 1/8th could be caused by literally anything.
Placebo.
Or like the driver took a dump before the faster run.Anything.. like a power increase caused by a slightly better flowing exhaust? ?
Or halfway down the track out the window lolOr like the driver took a dump before the faster run.
