Well I just installed my "Fitzstick" if this is the name that will stick. Only Mike will make that decision but I think its a great name someone came up with. I had a hell of a time getting the FORD fill plug off. I tried from the bottom and from the wheel well. I guess my almost 69 yr old body is telling me something as I didn't have the strenght to break it loose. I then said F-it and came in from the top with a few long bars and used my impact and the rest is history.
Fairly easy install after that, but I wish I would have ordered that 6" short adjustable the guy in the youtube video had. My suggestion to you guys is to order a short adjustable that can expand to 27mm or just over an inch. Now that I think about it I will order one myself!!

Installed the fitzstick checker thingy today. Took around 16 minutes. That original stick is horrible. Can’t hardly get in there when it’s cold much less hot.
put about half a quart in afterwards. Easy to check and fill now.

I'm glad it went well, yeah it is a tight space, a short adjustable wrench would work well, I just have a medium length open end wrench.

Fitzstick, that keeps coming up, it's funny and cool, maybe I will have have it as background sign on my website, it's official destination is the RS-1023.

It wouldn't be a email, a PM maybe, but I'm hoping to be able to make a large enough batch to just post it up here.

I should take a video, if the factory cap were to be at a normal torque and not super tight, I bet it only takes 5 minutes, maybe less.

I would love to see the Fitzstick logo on garage walls all over the world. Knowing I was able to contribute a little something to make it stand out is self gratifying. ? Got to go UPS just delivered a box about 2ft long. Now I have to find time to install.

IMO, a separate post called "Remote Transmission Dip Stick Order Fulfillment" needs to be created... list people who said they want it, in order of to-be fulfilled, and a target date for each "batch". Mike can update as they go out.

Mike can include his PayPal info so real buyers can pay and wait (help his cash flow).

Oh, and turn off comments from others... they can keep making them here... with over 1000 responses here, it's just too much to wade through.

I say we keep it going & make it the longest thread in the world.
That being said I know there comments on the packaging & photos of the product but I do not remember seeing any of the packing. I think Mike put as much thought in to this as the product itself. I do not believe that any mass produced product would look this good.
Thanks again Mike. Now time to find time for install. :like: :):like:
