Rear Recovery Points with Tow Package

Curious is anybody has installed rear recover points on their Tremor that came with a tow package. As I understand, the tow bar is using the recovery point mounts.

I think I recall seeing someone modify some bolt on tow hooks to work. The oem Tremor tow points are welded to the rear bumper cross brace though.

I'm with @Radioman on this. For why you will do that should be more than enough. Also recommend the ARB Weekender recovery kit at the least. Nice strap that is rated along with 2 Shackles and a pair of gloves included in the kit.

Thats what I have

Not real thrilled with the customer service though.
The chrome is already rusting on the hitch pin. I need to clean it and I do leave it in place year round. Must be cheap chrome plating.
I have a set of the locking D rings on the front of the truck and somehow lost the locking nut.
they made me buy a whole pin, said they don't sell just the lock nut. the piece that is most likely to get lost.

Other than that, quality seems good, made in China, sold by "American Patriots" ?
I don't off road so I don't have any real use reviews.

Exactly what I have except I use a locking pin.

Ditto on the locking pin. I use a black powder coated one vs chrome.

I have a tow hook that slides into the hitch receiver. You can get a D-ring shackle too.

I use a similar one and swap it with a hitch receiver when I need to tow. I got one in red that matches the red accents on the Tremor quite well. I also changed put my front tow hooks for red ones.
