So, first drive with the AFE scoop in conjunction with the Velosatech intake scoop i noticed the air box temps reached ambient quicker and held longer than before the AFE. The Velosatech previously increased slightly better than the scoop I made. I also used a bit of foam weatherstripping to seal the bottom of the AFE scoop since it doesn't have anything and you can't transfer the stock gasket. I'll be doing another mod soon to see if that helps both th

Mostly prepped for the hidden winch mount switch. Already swapped to synthetic line. Extended the harness for the cruise control radar. Big thanks to @589FAB for getting me the missing hardware in 2 days in time for my install tomorrow. Shedding around 55 lbs.

589fab hidden winch mount done. I deviated by mounting the control box behind the driver fog light and did a connector at the grille opening instead of mounting it in front of the battery. It was already crowded there.

Before 265/70-17 and after 285/70-17. Trimmed the aftermarket mudflaps, loosened and adjusted the front crash bars for minor rubbing. All clear. And speedometer calibrated via Forscan.

Who needs to buy high clearance crash bars when I can notch and weld them myself. Good thing only the backs were rubbing.

4 way camera integration module. This module allows adding both front and side cameras to the stock SYNC 2 or 3 system. I didn't order a camera yet because I wasn't sure it would be compatible. You can manually toggle the front and rear camera manually with the radio power button. When it functions automatically the front comes one once it the radio fully boots up and you shift into neutral or drive and then shuts off above 7 mph, the sides activate when you hit the turn signals and reverse as normal in reverse.

Lower the volume on this one the music on this one as the satellite was cutting on and off in the garage.

Install required removing all these panels just to get to the APIM. Simply plugs in between the harness. Run the wires for the camera and make the connections. I'll be looking for a decent front camera next and then buttoning everything up.

Any idea if this harness will work with a 2021 Lariat? It doesn't even seem to have the Ranger's listed, but you made it work, curious if there's any changes that wouldn't allow installation in my truck that you may know about?

No clue. It hasn't been available for a while either.

Got the radio finished. Fabbed a quick bracket and sandwiched it to the ditch light and bracket for the antenna. Used an RJ-45 pass through and put it in the useless area of the storage cubby. Mic is stored in the glove box when not in use.

So I put together a few sets of these and I've been testing them for a few weeks. They rattle a bit under 20 mph under certain conditions but I'm OK with the trade off of the quick release. It takes about 5 seconds to take each side off with the truck on a flat surface wheels on. Mike, Andy and David have sets to test a soon as they install them.
