Cold here but no weather


Do your plow drivers have the gate to come down when they cross your driveway? Most of the time here they use them and we get a slight berm. If it's a big storm and they don't have time we will get a berm.

I don't think that they do. We usually don't get that many major snow events here, so I doubt they'd spring the extra cash for that.

I've never seen that before and back east I think they purposely fill your freshly plowed driveway.

I've never seen that before and back east I think they purposely fill your freshly plowed driveway.

Yeah, In Lake Arrowhead they would leave a 5 foot frozen boulder berm every snow. I love that they use snow gates most storms for us in McCall.

It was drifting up heavily in spots on that side of the road a bit earlier and I was thinking that they’ll need to send a plow soon. Then, there he was…..The Snow Plow Man.

Whiteouts are absolutely terrifying. We had a 100 car pile up a few miles from us last week and the another 20+ one today. Needless to say my Ranger was tucked away in the garage both times. No serious injuries in either thank goodness.

I knew that big rig was going to brake when I noticed the plow - it was going slow most of the time I was behind it and whenever there was blowing snow coming over the road, he’d back way off. I don’t think he was used to driving in these conditions.

It’s always fun trying guess what the driver ahead of you is going to do. And at the same time remember who was behind you and how close.
