I don't mind the steps getting in, but they seem awkward to use getting out. Perhaps I will get used to them before I get around to doing anything about them.

Agreed, but I think that I need at least a stoppable running board or actual drop steps since I sometimes have to transport my elderly mother and in-laws. The Tremor is too high for them to climb in without some kind of step.

I got bad knees so this makes it easy to get in and out of the bed and it's affordable

Haven't read all the posts, not sure if anything is must have.
Nice to have:
Bedliner
Bed cover
Mudflaps
Hate to say it, that dam damper makes it nice
Better floor mats
Changed out the antenna to a stubby
Armrest console tray

I have all of these minus the mud flaps… but now I wanna look for some. I live in Southern California so don’t really NEED them, but I think they’d look cool.

A little late to the party. But here is a full list of what i have done to mine along with links on to where i purchased from. I originally did the UPR bov adapter to vent to atmosphere with stock BOV but since swapped to the Turbosmart. I did swap to the Sealight LED headlight, fog, turn signals from Halogen and needed resistors for the turn signals. Also added the AVS window rain guards.

On the lighting i did originally go with a cheaper option on the side markers from amazon and those lasted about a year before corroding and i had to get new socket connectors from Ford.

If looking for ways to mount you phones, tablets, ect to the dash you have to check out the Bulletpoint mounting solutions. I was also able to purchase some extra bolt packs to attach my RAM mount to the passenger side and by dash cam in the center.

I had autostop tuned off when i got a custom tune. I hadnt seen this before. Helpful for those that dont want to get a tune for sure!

I understand the simplicity of having a physical device installed to disable the auto stop-start functionality, but at $84.99 on sale (regularly $99.99), why would one not opt for a FORScan modification instead? Assuming you have the computer hardware and know-how to do so.

A FORScan compatible OBD2-to-USB cable looks to be available for $34.99-$59.99 and one can utilize the FORScan 2-month free trial or purchase the lifetime license (for what appears to be $50?) to gain that same functionality and more for roughly the same total cost.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that FORScan requires neither a custom tune file nor an ECU flash to function, but rather that it is primarily a diagnostic tool to modify parameters within the ECU.

Fiddling in Forscan can cause warranty issues (potentially, and it worries people), same with tunes. This is a completely reversible, and non-invasive method to disable the ASS.
