Found this link on the F-150...

Wondering if anyone on here has seen a similar test / write up for the Ranger EcoBoost? Curious as to how many miles these engines are rated for / expected to last.

I’m loving my 2019 Ranger so far. Performance in every category is better than Tacoma & Colorado from personal test drives & comparison. Just hoping this engine is built to last several hundred k. Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen anything like that on the 2.3, but it was impressive.

Yah, but did they baby it for the first 1000 mile break-in period?

Ok, seriously, that was impressive and fun to watch.

That was very impressive to watch that engine get hammered and still run after all that. I really like the towing uphill races against the V8's.

Saw an interview on YouTube on the Mr. Truck channel where he had the head engineer of the new Ranger tell him the engine is designed to last 200,000 miles. From everything I've read and heard these things should be tanks. They're not built to fail.

240 degrees huh....should've brought it out here in July! lol:giggle: It is impressive and very informative for those who still don't believe these motors are built tough! Anything can fail but it's nice to see the torture test they put them through and what they endure. :muscle:

I thought I heard they were tested up to 150,000 miles and that’s it.

Per the video, they are tested to 150K in an accelerated manner...but will keep going well beyond that.

But if we're only going to get 150k out of these, @Msfitoy is going to have to replace his truck by the end of the year
