That's what I described regarding positive pressure for interior...I didn't know the Ausi made such a thing lol...
I found several options on Aussie sites. must be popular for all those GAFA (Great Australian F--K All cause there Ain't F--K All Out There) trips they make....

I used a couple different types to seal it up. Got them off Amazon and can look them up if interested. Does a pretty good job of keeping it out in heavy dust. I have a Truxedo low pro roll up. Also make sure you plug all the small openings at the front of the bed too.

The pickup bed is so full of holes...it's not just the tailgate...there're gaps elsewhere and tonoue cover...probably only positive atmosphere system would keep everything out...maybe an external air pump to raise internal air pressure and keep dust out...

I am okay with sort of de minimis dust getting in there - it's a truck bed, I don't expect it to be sealed like the cab. But this was just insane amounts coming in clearly from around the tailgate to a degree I have never seen before and never anticipated.

there’s a Ranger owner that left a review for the extang on Amazon saying it doesn’t seal well. Sounds like you have had a different experience?
Probably some noob that didn't put it on right or in the right places

Its not perfect, as others have stated there are other small holes in other areas of the bed

However between the moving blanket and tailgate seal it probably cut the dust down 80-90%

Used to be a thread on the subject but appear it's gone. No wonder we get the same questions 3 yrs later.
Here's another thread:
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/bed-gaps-for-tonneau-cover.4095/#post-60140

I used this as did many others early on.
https://extang.com/maxseal-tailgate-seal

Works fairly well though I'm not offlroading.

Yes it says not for Ranger but used it anyway. It says universal fit.
Thanks for the pointer. My earlier search didn’t turn this up.

Sometimes memory is still better than searches. Too bad the original is gone.

Last night I ordered a kit from Amazon to exactly fit our tailgates. Having same issues with my topper set-up.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YF5BL8M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought and used this one, and while it helped, it's still far from perfect. If you close the tailgate and look from the bed to the outside, the gaps around the tailgate are *unreasonably* enormous. I mostly gave up on trying to solve for it, especially since I don't live in that territory anymore, but it is definitely a, still to me, unsolved problem.

I was considering trying to build my own gasket style seal using walk-in cooler gasket, but haven't yet found a way to mount it, but I suspect it would help more, but it wouldn't look all that pretty.
