Got mine installed this morning. Instructions were not great, but I think I got it.

Will get tested this weekend on Forest Service roads. If I can get 50% reduction or more I’ll be happy.

I’m going to be using my Ranger w/ARE canopy for some Great Basin exploration, and want to put my Engel and EcoFlow back there, so my dog can enjoy the air conditioning in the cab. I’ve picked up a tailgate seal, and plan on covering the front edge of the bed, and the gaping holes under the rails at the front edge.

Any words of wisdom? Missed spots? Has anyone used one of the positive pressure anti dust units?

Hey Folks,

I recently took a road trip that involved significant time off road, both on slow 4x4 tracks crawling along, and on high speed unpaved roads doing 45-55mph. On my return home I found that after the period of high speed dirt running on the return trip there was a *lot* of dust intrusion into the bed of the truck (see pic). On other threads I've seen folks putting carpet and other dust-sensitive items in the bed of the truck, and I have a Backflip MX4 that is pretty good about keeping things in from the top, but if I'm going to get this much dust from just driving dirt roads I am going to need to rethink how I seal up some things like my Ecoflow power station.

Has anyone come up with solutions to prevent dust intrusion in dusty areas like the desert? The only place it seems like it could be coming from is the crack at the hinge of the tailgate.

Thanks!
I get the same issue with dust and rain, I also have a bed cover. I’ve just learned to live with it and don’t worry about it. Even with the bed cover closed, there’s open ports near the top of the bulkhead that seem to let in dirt and water. I guess you could seal them somehow? Not really sure why they’re there or what purpose the serve. Maybe wiring ports for camper shell? Idk. It’s annoying but I just assume if I put stuff in the bed, it’s gonna get wet and dirty.

Yea was just going to say all the little circular and odd shaped holes and gaps under the top rails

Even with my tonneau cover and the tailgate seal some gets in. I found a lot of dust gets in along the bottom of the front bulkhead. I didn't want to seal it so I just lay a moving blanket down and put my gear on top - helps with the dust and vibration a lot
