Nice shot. There is some crazy stuff in Cleghorn. With all the snow up there right now the mountains are closed.

that would have been a butt pucker moment for me lol. for some reason rolling over by side does not upset me as much as the idea of going end over end .

Rolling over the side is a much smaller fall than end over end. We're not incredible wide, but we're very long, especially when you go tall! lol

The wife and I decided to go out today for a solo run. Ran in to some snow. I run 34" tires and the driver's side is buried. Had to winch from 2 different points to get out of here, then twice again to get back through to track back. It was actually a lot of fun, the wife earned her keep by army crawling across snow to hook up to a tree. The snow was waist deep for me and I weigh a lot more than her. I am glad that I got to put all my recovery gear to the test, and it helped justify the bumper, winch, recovery gear purchases.

@AndyMedic and I took the wives camping... Might not have been the best idea, given the weather. Snowed and was colder than expected. My wife caved and wouldn't go for the second night...

But the views were incredible.

The day on the trail yesterday might have cured me of my desire to offroad in the snow.

Andy pulled me backwards once, couldn't get enough traction going forward, so the winch came out and made the recovery easy (enough). A huge shout out to Andy for the help. I learned a valuable lesson which is... Keep your recovery gear not packed under all your camp crap. Andy busted out his gear and made short work (while I was trying to climb out of the driver's seat, this was 19 degrees) of hooking up the gear. I hated being that guy that lets someone else hook up his recovery gear, but the driver door had snow up to the mirror.

It was a blast! That snow will be gone soon enough!
