  1. New Wheels

because making a set of .032" per side rings doesnt sound like it would be cause for alarm, but i wanted to check with the all knowing club of opinions before saying screw it... I'm just checking to see if anyone else feels its negligible amount of gap to even matter if you need hub rings or not...
  2. New Wheels

im looking at a set of Lock Offroad wheels that are now made with +25mm offset, and are made for the new toyota hubs at 95.1mm would I still need a hub ring for the 1mm per side? Nobody makes a set of rings that thin to keep the wheel hubcentric. Does anyone think this might cause balancing...
  3. Quick disconnect sway bar links.

yeah its pricey, if we have to go with the removable option, is there anything else needed to strap up the sway bar while its disconnected to keep it from angling down and getting caught on stuff, or pinched?
  4. Quick disconnect sway bar links.

sorry to revive an old thread like this, I'm looking into getting some quick disconnects, and I'm looking at the autolynx kit for the jeeps with an 8" stroke. any reason why those wouldn't work on the Ranger platform with a 3.5" lift, or would these work better to disconnect them and take the...
  5. Stolen taillight - more expensive than you might think

we should actively work to low ball these guys and get them to drop the price down to under $50. keep asking for lower prices and backing out, then when they advertise for lower, just keep repeating.
  6. *fixed* Front sensors won’t stop beeping

you have one of these coveted winch plates too? I ended up taking the front chin off to cut off the bull bar and re weld it with more angle so I can put soft shackles across it. Found it to be too close to the bumper and was hitting my license plate also. Angling it out fixed both my problems...
  7. *fixed* Front sensors won’t stop beeping

*fixed* found the error. I appreciate the help guys. I had not done the winch pre tensioning and the hook was swinging around when I would stop. I pulled the hook against the fairlead but not too tight so i can actually pull the cable out later without being bound up. Thanks for all the feedback
  8. *fixed* Front sensors won’t stop beeping

So I finally got around to installing the Shrockworks bumper I got with the new winch. I installed everything back, still need to find a good way to strap up the harness wince cutting the lower metal tabs from my OEM bumper, but after wiring the winch and getting the front sensors plugged back...
  9. Experience with BDS 3.5 CO Lift kit?

I also went with the BDS 3.5" Coil-Over lift, but i bought it before they offered the bypass dampening, so its just the 2.0 shocks. its been fine so far. In SoCal, ive been able to drive through Pilot Rock 2N17X, Gold Mountain, and Cleghorn doing all of the offshoots. its been good but theres...
  10. RTR Ranger grill with light bar

Anyone installed the RTR ranger grill with the light bar? I’m looking for pros and cons to buying one at $1200 price tag
  11. Australian stealth winch company

i really dont like that they put the winch so dang high and the rope comes out of the space in the bumper instead of sitting lower so that you can reach the controls through the opening... make a template that you cut the window out of the plastic chin part and be able to run the cable through...
  12. California shrockworks front winch bumper

Nice! I wasn’t really looking for a bull bar, but this is easily the best hidden winch I could find here in the states… if I could I would have went with the Australian company “around the fire”… they have a great winch mount that uses your OEM bumper that you have to trim out to fit the cable...
  13. California shrockworks front winch bumper

Anybody have a lead on someone parting with their 1/2 bumper? Let me know
  14. Shrockworks Stock Bumper Winch Mount

i think you can use the stock skid plate, but im curious if i need to use their tow hooks or if i can re use the stock ones... i kind of like the shape of the stock better than these, they look like they will snag on stuff when out on rocks... but thats just my observation
  15. California shrockworks front winch bumper

thanks dude, trying not to spend 2k on a whole bumper and I like the design of the OEM… the SW lower bumper was going to be the closest to keeping it look original. I can’t get an exposed winch mount because I live in the hood and don’t want to deal with people that have nothing better then to...
  16. California Sold: shrockworks front winch bumper

anyone have a shrockworks bumper they want to part with, or any leads on a brand that is doing something similar? ive only just found out about the company and it sucks they went under this year
  17. Post your off-road pics.

dude i was hugging my seat with my cheeks through this whole thing. I was teetering on here and had wheel lock due to weight on the front wheels
  18. Post your off-road pics.

this is going down "The Chute" of Cleghorn, also did pilot rock in the snow last year. this year i just completed Gold Mountain in big bear
  19. Bed storage box

Check out Huracan Fab tailgate box. It’s great for all the straps and shackles you need to carry for recovery and it’s only a little cutting on your part. It’s $600 and I’m looking to get mine towards the end of year.
  20. Australian stealth winch company

has anyone had the opportunity to install the hidden winch mount from Mongrel Off-road? I guess they have a vendor called Round The Fire that sells the mount and it looks great compared to the one sold here in the states. The cradle is lower in the bumper bash plate and doesn't block the air...
