Thank you! It definitely helps when you have experienced friends spotting you over the radio haha.
Boathouse Cove Road, Lake Mead, NV
Seems like im the only one that didn't shell out for the FX4 package. She's still just as capable. Did some crawling just outside Indian Springs, NV.
I love this truck.
Beautiful pictures! My dad didn't get the FX4 either, he got a "plain old" 502A with no FX4 He's jealous of my extra buttons, so much so that he's trading it in two years for the same truck with FX4...
If buttons is all he wanted he should have got one like mine, lol. I have a non-FX4 with the buttons.....they dont do anything but I got em
Here are a few from my recent adventures around New Mexico with my new girl, Morrigan, a currently stock FX4 Lariat. I'll definitely be looking at a leveling kit, bigger tires, etc but even in stock form I'm incredibly impressed by the off road capabilities.
On the Rubicon..ok..ok it's just the staging area. Maybe another time
He wants them to do something I'm certain yours could be converted with some cleaver flashing, or maybe just some Forscan debauchery.
Did some exploring over the weekend in the Cliffdell area to the east of Mt. Rainier. Mostly logging roads with fun trails mixed in between. Nothing too tough but the stuff I did encounter was a lot of fun and the Ranger drove like a champ. I couldn't believe the stuff it just casually went over. Toughest section was a steep climb with large ruts and a lot of loose medium sized rock. Looking forward more clearance and replacing the side bars with rock bars seem like a good idea. That and accepting the fact that the paint is going to take a beating from brush on narrow trails!
Amazed at all the beautiful Ranger pictures on here. Ya'll are some mighty fine photographers!
This is such a cool shot! A Ranger in its natural habitat.
We also went to Bodie Ghost Town, which if anyone who has been there knows the last 3 miles is all washboard dirt road. All the cars where doing 5 mph, while we cruised through at about 40mph drifting
I’ve lived within 30 minutes of the Oceano Dunes my whole life and have been there now a total of two times, didn’t go too far back but the truck did great despite not airing down.
I made it over Ophir Pass today.
Then he will have an FX6
