Took the truck out this weekend on Hermit Pass just outside Westcliffe, CO.

    https://www.dangerousroads.org/north-america/usa/3938-hermit-pass.html

Truck still amazes me. Got it on two wheels going up a 6 degree incline without the rear locked and it was able to apply traction perfectly. Incredible traction control system on this truck.

What impressed me most is that I never once hit a rock on any skid plates, sliders, or underbody bits. This truck is just the right size for off roading on these tight trails.

Trail control is something I wouldn’t want to do without anymore. Having it lock the throttle at a steady state when you are bouncing over boulders makes for a greatly improved off road experience. No more jerky throttle from your foot bouncing around.

I’m thinking this could be a great image for ford advertisement! Showing off the Ranger in its natural habitat, loaded and off-roading!!

@PatrickM do you notice any wind noise at highway speeds with those pod lights? I’m itching to get some but am going back and forth. Thanks.

No actually, I’m not hearing anything, not even the bigger tires! Seems like ford did a good job of keeping the outside noise from coming into the cab
