Off the lot problems I had:
1. Paint defects in multiple places. Basically there were spots where contaminents got on the frame prior to getting sprayed. Caused some sunk in "craters" as I refer to them. My rear passenger door inside frame was not even fully coated. You could still see the primer through the coating. I don't normally make a habit of inspecting door jams and frames on a brand new vehicle. Lesson learned. Took Ford Corporate over a month to approve repairs.
2. Two rust spots in the bed that funny enough were not there the day I picked up the truck. They showed up after it got its first bath. Mmmhmmm.... (was repaired when other paint issues were repaired.
3. Cold Start Shudder / Low Speed Shudder. This was fixed with a TSB that Ford finally acknowledged as a problem. (this is different than the other shudder issue with lifted trucks).
4. Driver side gangster lean. (no idea if shims are present). Never bothered. As I started modding and adding weight to my bed I guess I just stopped paying attention.
5. Piss poor fuel economy (or programming) even prior to my big rack mods. The dealership installed 285/70's with a 2.5" level in the front prior to me even coming along to buy the truck. Best combo mileage I got was around 18mpg if I recall and that was purposefully babying the throttle and adhering to speed limits while the tranny learned. No where near the 24-26 or whateverthe avertised MPG was for 2019 models. I alway used 93 octane. The dealer assured me I would only loose maybe 1 mph with this setup on 17" factory wheels. I am new to trucks so gullible me didn't know any better that lifting/leveling will screw with aerodynamics and same for bigger/wider rubber.
To put things in perspective I had my 93 performance tune installed when I was using version 1 of my custom rack. I was getting about 16mpg at this point through no fault of Ford. Just shitty aerodynamics at this point. After the tune I was getting 18.2 MPG. So I don't know if the tune just made the fuel mapping better, or just fixed some screwed up factory mapping mine came out of the factory with. The tune also corrected the totally craptastic electronic throttle body control so instead of having to press 1/4 of the pedal down to finally get going I can control the gas pedal with my big toe.
6. Back to the dealer installed factory tires. My speedometer was off by 1mph for every 10mph of speed. They refused to correct the issue through a calibration even though they created the problem. (my tune fixed this as well)
Would I buy again? Absolutely. However next go around (will be a long time I usually run a car till it is no longer feasible to repair) I'll have a checklist to go down when inspecting and I'm sure the dealership will think I am nuts.
I will give Ford props where due. In March 2020 they were desperate for sales so I did score 84 months @ 0% with 3 months deferred.

It is an easy fix and certainly not likely damaged. I replaced my tow hooks with Flat Tow connectors. there is about a 1/2 inch in every direction to line up the bumper to the facia. If you feel like fixing it yourself I would get on the Roadmaster RV Tow website and the is a video to show you how to remove the bumper. Certainly you wont go as far as removing the bumper. but it does tell you how to remove the cover pieces.WTH.. I noticed my front isn’t evenly gapped from a photo of my putco grille I posted on here. This scares me about what I can’t see. Come on man, it’s American made in Detroit. Manufactured 04/2021 (last month).
At the dealer it less than an hour.

i would doubt it. I've worked around Fortune 500 companies and the safety is off of the charts. Chevron for example had a very stringent enforcement policy. As subcontractors we had random drug tests. IIRC we would be removed from the job for a day with a .04 alcohol test. We would be fired permanently from all facilities with a .06. I'd tell people especially during the holidays to watch themselves. I had to escort a few off site for stupid stuff.

not true, i have a 4x2 lariat, my hood extends over fender sides at least a 1/4" on one side and 1/8" on other side. the right rear of my bed sits 3/4" higher than left side..

Quality control (or lack of) extends to dealer service also. I let the dealer do my first oil change just prior to a cross country trip (5k miles). On return, I decided to change oil myself and save my FordPass points for something better. To my shock and horror, I found the drain plug to be not even FINGER TIGHT!!
I can just imagine the kid doing the oil change got a text or interuption after he hand threaded the plug back in. And then on return had a brain fart and started dumping in oil, and called it job done (or so he thought).
By some miracle the engine never leaked a drop, but if it had I would not have noticed driving the interstate for hours on end, until the oil light came on (and permanent damage done).
That was the first dealer oil change I have had done in over 20 years, and sadly, my last. I will certainly call the dealer service manager and let him know what happened as the next guy may not be as lucky.
