This looks like a natural place for it to me. I would hope a magnet on the side of console would keep it somewhat secure and when you're out of the truck not attract attention...I tend to leave my little pew pew on the parking brake "pistol holster" when I'm driving my truck.
Nice...My truck gun is a 10" 300 with a folding "tailhook"...I just leave my pistol sandwiched between the passenger seat and center console. It's not very nimble but it's intimidating. I was at a stop light behind some dipshit who was texting and didnt see the light turn green. I gave him a tiny beep and that sent him into road rage. He brake checked me twice. Then I showed him a proper brake check. He pointed a 9mm Beretta at me at the next stoplight. So I showed him my 5.56 pee shooter. He sprinted away. I had no intention of doing that. But I don't like dickheads pointing guns at me. I live on the boarder where that shit happens frequently. This area is infested with Cartel members and they love to wave their guns around.
