Here is the response from Redline:
"We don't make the products you inquire about at this time, I'm afraid. However if you'd be willing to work with us on developing it, we'd be more than happy to hook you up with our products at no cost to you.

The manner in which we have devised almost all of our products is that once we had a person interested in getting our boots for their car which we did not support at the time, we'd offer them to send their current, stock items to us to use as templates. Shift and ebrake boots we'll have to unstitch, so they will not be returned. However armrest lids will of course be returned intact. You will also receive everything else you send (trim pieces, trim rings, etc.)

To express our gratitude for such an effort, we do give our leather boots for free, but we require writing an installation write-up (you can find many of those on our site, it's not that much work, just a description of pictures of the steps you took to install them) and sending it to us via email along with some after-installation pictures.

We also require a fully reimbursable deposit before we send out our product to you. Unfortunately it has happened before that we never received the materials we needed and we were out on a set of boots. Therefore it is our policy that before the boots are put in the mail, we need a $70 (per item) deposit via PayPal which will be returned to you in full once we receive the materials we require.

This method has proven to work effectively for both sides and the list of our products can be proof, that this can be done. We can also give you emails of other people who have worked with us an can testify our honesty."

I am not sure I want to have a gaping hole for while, I do not know how hard it is to replace.

Well add me to the list of torn e-brake boots... Called the dealer about it since I haver to take it in to have them re-tint the back window. They said they have seen so many of these come in that they are going get a local upholstery shop custom make a replacement leather boot instead of going back with the stock one.

Curious about the shop, I looked into the shop and they do really good work so I may have them make the shifter boot at the same time so they match.

Anyone else have this? I use it every time I park the truck. Seems to have been torn a while. I'm guessing pleather and 0° days don't mix. It was kinda folded to where it wasn't noticeable. Only noticed it giving it a quick cleaning.

Same thing is happening to mine and it definitely isn't seeing 0°F weather

I wonder if Ford provides warranty coverage if a dealership uses a non-Ford replacement. I would think not. So is the dealership just eating this cost for customer goodwill?

You might let the upholstery shop know about the interest in the boots on this forum. There seems to be a lot of folks wanting to buy a proper replacement, and I'm sure the site owners would be more than happy to have another forum sponsor.

Please let us know if you go this route, as I'm sure others here would use that shop as well :fingerscrossed:

I haven‘t noticed any tears after 15 months, and I use the e-brake every time I park. It is very stiff though, even in the balmy winters of NW Georgia. That boot is so stiff that I sometimes have to press the e-brake handle down to make sure it’s completely flat and disengaged. I’m going to give it a thorough inspection this weekend. I am very interested in a real leather, flexible boot.

Maybe you can get the shop's info and tell them they could sell them to us.

I called the shop and they quoted a ballpark of $75-175 installed for the shifter boot. They said it all depends on how hard it is to get the original boot off and would give me a firm price once they have the truck.

If the dealer does send it there for the e-brake boot and if I'm happy with the work I'll ask to see if they would want to do something on here. If not I can get pricing and look into setting up group buys when there's enough interest in it. They can use my originals as templates so it'd be a match to the OEM boots as far as fit goes.
