Pretty sure that feature had been removed.

Good news, they finally replied. Hopefully, they'll get on it and invoice me today. I should be able to get the final 10 in . Most have been successful, I've rewired and repaired several myself. A few still have yet to install.

I installed my module this afternoon. Everything works perfectly! I watched t4thfavor's video and used YouknowwhatImean's illustration and it was a breeze, just about an hour start to finish. Big thanks to those two for the installation guide and, of course, RCMUSTANG for making this option available to the group!

Hey RC - got the module back yesterday and I installed it this afternoon. Everything works great! Thanks for all the help and fixing the wires I damaged. You’ve been a friend to everyone in this forum!

UPDATE: Finally got the invoice for the last order of 10. They should be shipping shortly with the few replacement harnesses. However, they have not be able to get the harnesses for the correct right hand drive ordered. So, I will correct all the harnesses myself this time. If this is the case for further orders I'll have people order directly from them as it's a lot of work to set up group orders, mail them out and correct harnesses.

Still have 3 outstanding payments. One requested delayed payment. Other two have not heard from.

I can repin mine, if that'll save you the hassle of at least one. :)

Finally found the time to get mine installed today. I thought I would add some pictures to show hoe I went about it.

I popped out the red insert to reach the plastic clips that hold the wires inside the plug (pretty much the same way we released the wires to reverse the harness, mentioned elsewhere in this thread) so I could make a more permanent, waterproof install. I do not mind easy taps and the like, I just don't use them where water may be an issue.

Then I strip away a portion of the wire jacket and twist the desired wire around the exposed portion. I use a quality shrink wrap which produces a clear goop once properly shrunk to make a water tight seal. You could make a quick spot weld with solder, but in my experience its overkill as the shrink wrap will hold the wire in place permanently.

As far as mounting the module, I went with double side taping it to the back of the door panel as many others have done in this thread. I did however use adhesive promoter on the module before sticking the 3M tape, and on the door panel before I stuck it to it. Also, I positioned the module so the plug would be down incase water ever enters the door so it wouldn't enter the module.

I can confirm everything works except auto roll up after 1 minute. I haven't read this thread in quite a bit so I am not sure if others got their auto up after 1 minute to work, but I think its the one and only feature that hasn't worked for anyone.

Thanks again for MC'ing this mod @RCMUSTANG. I appreciate it as I am sure do others.

That is a fine wiring job. I was going to shrink wrap mine but it was too hot out. I figure if the taps ever come loose or I have to touch the module again I'll do a better job. I also pointed the port down in case of water.

As to the auto-rollup, I think that got removed from the modules.

posi-taps are pretty 'water proof' from the outset. however, to be xtra sure, just throw some heatshrink tubing over it and Voila.

Agreed, if you heat shrink all three wire inputs into the post-tap it would be water tight. Most people use them for a nice, quick tap and if going through the effort to use heat shrink, why heat shrink a posi-tap if you can just heats shrink? No argument here, there are many ways to skin a cat :)

Jmeo where did you get the your quality shrink wrap from, I like your way of doing the wires.
