Never had it done, but I'll give that a shot. Never had to get the wheels balanced before, but perhaps used cars were already dialed in.

I've never had a problem like this on any vehicle before, tires, drive line, etc and just think it's insane how many people have the issue (lift or no lift)
I had 1 of my General Grabbers on my Tremor replaced under warranty after having them RoadForced balanced. Regular balancing showed them to be fine. The bad one measured 64 with low to mid teens being acceptable.

I have a set of 5 matching General Grabbers, rotate often and haven't seen an improvement which is why I haven't taken it in for a balance. Maybe I'm unlucky and more than one wheel is outta whack.

It would be pretty cheap to rule it out. Seems like Discount Tire charged less than $50 to do 4 tires.

If you buy from them they will rotate, check and rebalance for free, every 5K miles.

Yep, but mine were OEM tires with about 7K on them so hence the charge. Since I paid for the balance now they rotate and check the RoadForce for free every 5K. And they’ve also been doing it for free on our 2022 Escape.

Fair, I've just never had to do it before and have always assumed it was simply the driveline. Thanks

Hey everyone, I'm back with news! A lot of people have asked about an aluminum shaft. I've always said it's not possible, because it didn't used to be possible. However, another company, Knoxville Driveline, has developed the required parts and the complete drive shaft. I'm personally running one of their aluminum shafts in my Tacoma and it's been great. This aluminum shaft is a great option for further reducing high speed vibrations and for anyone who is concerned about critical speed issues. I have no skin in the game here, if anything this aluminum shaft directly competes with our steel shaft and we'll probably lose a few sales as a result. But our Ranger shafts have never been a cash grab and there's room in the market for anyone who wants to make a good product. I don't give my stamp of approval freely to everyone but Knoxville has my approval for sure. Adam, the owner, is a genuinely good guy with a great work/business ethic and they make good products.

You can find their aluminum shaft here https://www.knoxvilledriveline.com/...-piece-conversion?_pos=1&_sid=e4d948dd1&_ss=r.

That's great to hear and very nice of you to recommend another company. Not many others would do this and it's nice to see a company looking out for their customers best interest!

I put your Ranger5G shaft on this past October and it has finally made driving my truck carefree and fun for the first time. Sincere thanks for putting something on the market to address the issue—for anyone on the fence, I definitely recommend TW's driveshaft!

It says you will need to send in measurements to complete the order. I take that as it will work with any Ranger.
Shawn had posted a while back that they were dropping the Tremor adapter and would not be offering anything for the Tremors

It is a good looking piece, but I have had zero issues with your steel driveshaft. I have not had a single thunk, shudder, squeal, or shake since I installed your driveshaft.

The aluminum driveshaft may expand the performance envelope, but I don't expect my truck will ever see the envelope boundary. I have pushed/tested it to 100mph on occasion with no vibration.

I typically never exceed 75-80mph. I see no need to upgrade to the aluminum unit. I suspect less mass probably does increase throttle response some, but your product is still far superior to the stock Ford part. I'm happy.... And yours is half the price!

For me personally, the TW Drivehaft is good enough.

This fit the tremor package? Doesnt specifically say it doesn’t.
I just asked them. No, they do not have anything that fits the Tremor or any Ranger shaft that uses more than 4 bolts to attach at the rear axle. (I've seem a couple non-tremors use this design).
