I will be updating this in the near future with pictures of air compressor install, air line routing, and air tank mounting.

I plan to mount the compressor in front of the battery, run a copper air line along the frame to an air tank mounted opposite of the fuel tank.

In the meantime does anyone have air compressor brand and design recommendations?

I just bought a smittybuilt 5.65cfm today to mount on board. Probably won’t have time to mess with it til next weekend. If you want something more premium, then the ARB high output is what you want. Since I don’t plan to use air lockers and won’t be out do major wheeling every weekend, the Smittybuilt will hold up just fine based on what I’ve read.

Awesome, let me know how you decide to wire it. I need to get a way to keep the relay try and get power to it either fused from the battery or from a spare spot in the fuse block. I’m going to get a 100% duty cycle unit so I can air up the tires after airing down and use it to blow out camping gear.
