I can't imagine hauling 12,000 pounds in a Ranger. I assumed it was a typo when I looked at the website, but maybe its GVWR? I think it adds a couple thousand pounds to the payload of the current suspension? Maybe.
Hah yeah I didn’t take that statement with much thought. Unfortunately ARB USA isn’t very forthcoming with the exact details on these leaf springs. I might try to call ARB AUS and see if they can provide some more accurate info on the leafs. Either way I’m hopeful that I can get a little more articulation out of these.

Nothing, not even new leafs, can change your truck's GVWR or rated payload capacity. These springs have the tensile strength to theoretically handle up to 12,000lbs of load, but that does nothing to change the factory ratings of the truck.

After they arrive, would you mind measuring those bolts that come up in the center of the leaf before you put them on? Curious how far apart they are/how much space they need in a u-bolt plate.
I called ICON. Unfortunately, they do not have final numbers yet. Though they did say specs should be fairly similar to their other mid-size RXT systems. COVID has kind of thrown a monkey-wrench into getting their test mileage in.

The best part of the OME kit is it raises front and rear at the same time.

Googling has turned me away only because the shocks seemed to rust out pretty quickly in states that use salt on the roads, and mixed reviews on the lifespan of the shocks and not being rebuilding. But they almost had me. Everyone I've talked to loves the OME stuff.

One of they guys I work with loves the Old Man EMU kits. The fact that it raises both front and rear is why I chose it. Originally I was going to do the Fox kit but I would have to buy more parts to raise the rear and I wasn't for that idea to much.

Okay so the install is on hold now. The kit is missing the bushing kit which Jason with stage3 will add to the kit from now on. Always uncharted territory with new parts like this so it’s understandable. ARB has the kit in stock and hopefully it will ship soon. Until then I’ll post the pics of what I do have.

Kind of interesting that it did not come with the bushings to begin with. You would think with a company like ARB that it would come with everything you need including the bushings

Well from my understanding the leafs are mean to be sold with the shocks as a kit. But stage 3 is offering the leafs as an individual upgrade option which I am very happy to see. Another issue is the massive disconnect from ARB AUS to USA which has really limited the information on parts. So it’s a small inconvenience in the big picture since Icon won’t have springs out till September/October. Being the first is never the easiest hah.

To my understanding well before the kits for the Rangers were released you could get individual parts like leafs and coils or even shocks for that matter from ARB. For a lot of Toyota and Jeep guys that was the case here in the states before they started to offer full kits. Also if you go to the Old Man EMU site they have things listed as either kits or individual items.

Yes, these are the 1.7” lift springs.
Looks much beefier than that stock bar

If my backend starts to droops, may be a spring upgrade in my future. I'll add it to the list

I agree, they also have the option to add a leaf (EL34XL) to the pack for an extra load capacity of 600 lbs.
