These are the 3 bolts you take out to get at the filter

My bad. I'm months away from needing the 1st oil change so I haven't taken a good look as to where the filter is. For some reason I was thinking it was the lower pins. Glad it is the bolts instead of those silly pins!

Anyone happen to have the part number for those bolts? I thought about 3D printing pins with magnets but the bolts would be an easy fix.

Whatever i work on on the Ranger I seem to run into those clips. Since I either break them or they fly away, I bought some spares.

Yep! Through the dipstick tube. No messes, drips, or spills!
Does this get every bit of oil seriously? It’s going against gravity, seems like it wouldn’t be as good as draining it, but if this saves me from getting under the truck and does the complete job, hell yeah.
