Picked mine up today from my dealer. Need to get it installed over the weekend.
Got an email from Varsity apologizing for the wait and are refunding my shipping, classy dealer!

Mine finally came in today. Ordered 10/31. Picked it up abc took ten minutes to install. Highly worth it. Only issue I see is that it will interfere with a tailgate seal on the truck. Looks like a seal on the tailgate itself maybe a better option. For a nice T50 Torx bit, got mine at Home Depot on a 3/8 drive for the ratchet. Worked great.

Ordered 10-30 from Village Ford in Dearborn, MI and finally picked it up yesterday. Paid $36.90, which wan't too bad. Install was fairly straight forward, though I did have a hard time keeping the bracket on the bed from rotating when I was tightening the bolt, but I think I got it snugged up. Time will tell how it holds up.

an FYI for those who dont want to shell out money for a specific torx bit..

providing the torque isn't bust your knuckles tight, allen wrenches can still fit and carry out the task. Check your toolbox first before you buy a one use torx bit.
Yeah but I’m not into damaging a $12 fastener for lack of a $3 tool
