My dealer fixed it in an hour and said he will call when the new part is availible. This is a minor problem, you need a new dealer I think.

I also bought the first year Focus with the transmission problem. I really like my Ranger but first year problems are going to come up more often. I worked for Ford 31 years and it is a great company!

I am still waiting on the connector also. I have a good service dept. He rewired the connector after it failed so I could drive it. I knew better than to buy a first year new model but hindsight is 20/20.

If you took delivery I would be screaming bloody murder for a loaner! I would never go back to that dealer if you have a choice.

my Ranger had the tail light problem interemintent finally took it in and they resoldered the pin and ordered the part(not in yet). No problems since then. I go to a good service dept. scary not having rear lights. They do flash quickly on the dash when it isnt working so you will know.

Anyone else having GPS problems giving wrong directions. Really far off. Very frustrating.

Had the taillight brakelight turn signal problem. They rewired the plug but said for the whole connector recall will have to wait till January 78,000 Rangers recalled. Scary not having brakelights or turn signals!
