Month One - Worked Fine
Month Two - Squeaking like crazy
Month Two and a half - Puked oil all over my tailgate and bumper, no longer works, and hardware is rusted.

Lesson: Should have spent the extra few bucks and got the DEE ZEE damper

Mine never had issues. Arm does not squeek as I lower my tailgate. No oil leaking out of my arm. No rust that I can see. Though a couple freckles and one mole. They say moles are nothing to worry about unless they have a bunch of hairs growing out of them.

Mine is even adjustable lowering speed, watch as I change how fast the tailgate lowers!
