Wonder why the difference. Same cab/drivetrain configurations and tire size.Reading the sticker on the drivers door pillar has worked pretty well for this American.

I also was suprised by the low loadindex of 109 for this large sise LT C- load ( referencepressure 50 psi, further Pr).Wonder why the difference. Same cab/drivetrain configurations and tire size.

Interesting.. i used the tire pressure calculator..
Old tire size..
265/60r18 load 110 30 psi.. load of 2008 lbs.
New tire...
265/70r18 load 116 recommended psi of 25 psi load of 2046lbs..
Yea im not going to run 25 psi in my tires..
They're currently set at 35 psi and if i drive over brail i could read it for you..
I will try lowering them to 30 psi though..
Mine are at 35psi and i can feel every pebble in the road.. i'll drop them to 30 psi and see what happens..25psi? i got mine at 35psi 265/70/18, i think its the sweet spot
Keep me postedMine are at 35psi and i can feel every pebble in the road.. i'll drop them to 30 psi and see what happens..
The 25psi came from the tire pressure calculator link posted earlier in the thread
They actually overfill them for shipping.. dealer is supposed adjust them as part of the dpi.I’ll have to take a look at this tomorrow and see what’s in my door pillar. I just purchased the truck last night and noticed this morning that it’s at 41psi which struck me as very high. I’m thinking they probably overfill them a bit to avoid flat spots if they sit a while on the lot.
Interesting that it has LT tires.... and a 17 inch spare.Just saw a new Tremor and here is the recommended PSI for the stock 265-70-17 General Graber AT .
