    I listen to this Ford mechanic sometimes, here he speaks about Ecoboost engines and fuel in oil, he has specifically said in the past that 2.3 Ranger fuel in oil is a normal thing.

    Almost exact same thing happened to me but i did stay with Ford, bought a 21 Explorer with same engine, 5k miles and have not seen the same issue, very happy so far.

    I had this happen on my 21 Explorer and figured out it was a piece of ice that was in the bottom of the door. I was about to take it to the dealer but instead started playing with the door trying to figure out what part was not closing right.

    Hey, i traded in my Ranger for a 21 Explorer with the 2.3 l 10 spd, i get the same issue once in a while i have 3000 miles on mine and some other Explorer owners say they have the same smell. Everything looks good though.
  9. Borla, AWE, or Roush Exhaust

    I have a Borla because of their high quality and very nice exhaust tone, the tone is very important to me as most don't have an acoustic tune, the Borla seems very refined to me, if Corsa made an exhaust for the Ranger, I would get it in a heartbeat.

    Since that is a common problem and i always have had a fuel smell, I thought maybe some of it is fuel but it would be hard to say since I suspect they put too much oil in there in the first place.

    Im ok going under, it's easy since I put on larger tires and the Fox 2.0 leveling kit. I also like to use Amsoil on all my vehicles.

    Yes it's a bolt, I edited my post, everything looks good, no leaks ect.

    Just did my own oil change after taking to the dealer for oil changes the past 3 times, the process was easier than expected but the oil pan bolt was already stripped and the oil filter cover clips were broke, never again will I bring it to the dealer, I also removed 7 quarts of oil! Im not sure...
