I was recently put in contact with a local company Pak Rax about fabricating rock sliders for our platform. They currently offer a very nice bed rack but haven’t done any test fitting for sliders on the Ranger. I have already volunteered my vehicle as a test mule.

They make excellent, well designed products (Bronco Rock Slider Example)but they aren’t the largest of companies. So I came here to gauge interest in a new offering on the market.

Would you buy a set if they were on the market?

Yes. I’ll see if I can get an install guide from them to show their mounting system.
Went to their site and everything they offer in a rock slider shows welded to frame. I have White Knuckle frame mounted bolt ons. I chose them because I didn’t want to weld to frame. Something they may want to look into. Also they should look into the 6G Ranger Raptor for a frame mounted bolt on set. Seems like there would be a demand for them.

Bronco sliders say they are fully welded and bolt on ready.

Working on getting a Bronco install guide for something a little more relevant to our platform but in the meanwhile here is a BOLT ON Slider Install Guide for a 4Runner.

Can’t give an exact price, but their other offerings seem to be in the $1000 to $1200 range.
Shipping is flat rate at $265 according to their website.
They are headquartered in Gilbert, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix) and offer local pickup.

Those look nice. Look like they can be used as steps, is that right?

Yup, the tread plates are standard and help to give you a better foothold. This are frame mounted and can hold the weight of the vehicle, so they would make for very stout steps.
