Not the best pictures. It was an afterthought. But I did not choose the welded top plate on my sliders so it would collect less ice/snow/dirt/mud. Haven't had it on for winter yet so this coming winter will be the first with the sliders on.

I think there is a large enough gap on the RRW that it won't be an issue. But you never know.

Shrockworks on my Tremor. Have dropped off onto a rock onto them while off-road shortly after I installed and they did what they were designed to do. I am happy with my purchase.

I'm selling my rock sliders. $480 obo. Relations Race Wheels. Trucks been totalled for a while now so just want em out of my garage. Extra money will let me buy 35's for the new truck.

Pictures of my new wheels and tires on my f150? The wheels on my Ranger went with the truck when it was totalled. I still have the rock sliders though.

You have a legit concern. We get ice build up on ours and you can hear it knocking against the paint. It's happened twice.

When I emailed them the response I got back was:

"Well that’s certainly something we didn’t consider! Ice buildup isn’t something we are familiar with down here in Texas. I appreciate the feedback."

I like that they are tucked up tight, but the front of their sliders are much closer to the front rocker panel, than they are to the bed in the rear.

Is the flat steel section on these sliders wide enough to allow or act as an actual step? My impression of these sliders was that they were tucked really tight, and if so, I wounder if it would be better to for go that extra material.

Frame mounted steps and sliders are always the best option. There is a lot more strength in the frame vs the cab.

I went with Addictive Desert Design they’re attached to the body not to the frame. Technically not true rock slides but I like the look. I have taken it off road a few times and high center it a on some big rocks here and there. they never smashed up into door did get some big scratches but thats expected. They did the job and I don’t regret the purchase they’re pricey. But you get what you pay for. I have a FX4 stock no lift or leveling kit
