Need a 303 transmission oil additive to fix all the defective 5g transmissions being predicted by some .

If it works, he'll be swimming in money, as that same 'problematic/defective' trans will be in the 6G as well, along with F150 and Explorer.

Regarding #2: How is that possible? Are the motors turned sideways in those models?

Chrysler took the minivan transmission and basically made the drive exit to the rear instead of the side.

Chrysler minivan transmissions are notorious for problems so I guess Chrysler thought that they should share the love, as they are also problematic in the Jeeps.

In actuality, if Chrysler thought that they could save 3/12s of 0ne cent per vehicle and most vehicles make it past warranty, they will do it.

Incredibly cheap shortcuts throughout all Chrysler products I've owned.

But they do look nice and are fun to drive ?

On the bright side, it will come with 3 year unlimited mile warrantee and it's a miracle they have one in stock...they told me it could be rebuilt but it would take time and the labor involved wouldn't save me much...I'm going to pretend that I'm buying a used car and be done with it...?

On the bright side, it will come with 3 year unlimited mile warrantee and it's a miracle they have one in stock...they told me it could be rebuilt but it would take time and the labor involved wouldn't save me much...I'm going to pretend that I'm buying a used car and be done with it...?

? That's no way to start a new year. Any indication from dealer if the pan had lots of clutch disc material in it?

Based on your documented symptoms, I was thinking one or more of the solenoids in the valve body might be sticking. If they didn't find clutch material in the pan, I'd still think valve body solenoid(s).

Hopefully that $5900 is parts and labor.
