At first I used spray paint, looked good for a few months but quickly chipped away. I just ended up buying a new valence bar that’s already black. My skid plate is still spray painted and looks fine.

You can get them cheap on Amazon. I have a set of black (never used- adhesive still intact) that were sent to me for free with my raptor style grill. You can have them if you'll pay for shipping

Yes my man! I did the same thing with my bash plate/skid plate!

I did the spray paint, and then clearcoat all with spray paint. Mine was to go with the red motif

Great looking truck! You’re in trouble though because I started with Mustangs but basically bit by the modifying bug, and here I am many cars later and still up to my crazy behavior.

I have not owned one car or truck or SUV that I didn’t keep going and going.

My only regret is the built 306 with the twin screw Kenne Bell supercharger that I had to sell because I decided not to do the Mustang project. I should’ve kept that motor and supercharger at least! Maybe dropped it into this range hah! 600+ wheel horsepower not too bad, with an instantaneous flat torque curve at 1800 RPMs
