So far I've 3d printed a couple cubes about 15mm thick that moves the skid down just enough to offer a little overlap. I'm also looking at getting a second skid plate to create a sandwich of sorts... maybe add a 3rd one, who knows?Please post/share what you do with "spacing".
Yes, the stock skid not beefy enough. It helps to a point, but caves quickly under pressure.
I do have an aftermarket front skid (I don't recall the brand - received from a good friend). It is holding up great.
I've seen a bunch of aftermarket ones and I just plain didn't like them, maybe I'm too attached to the air dam.
