My stock OEM ball joint ends appeared to be maxed out at full droop with the ICON 2,5" Ext travel coilovers....the extra range of motion of the APG's fixed that...now I think the stock sway bar still attached is my droop limiter....Beside the advantage of less binding, the up graded tie rods are holding their toe angle alignment better...
Yea I'm sure the steering's going to feel much tighter and holding that alignment alone should be a reason to get upgraded tie rods especially with 35's or bigger. Sway bar? What is that? Lol

Can't wait to put these on tomorrow and take it in for an alignment. My last alignment didn't last too long, wel my wife drove the truck once and ever since then the steering wheel has been off ??

Bad news. So first to understand the situation you have to understand I am running +3" wider control arms and the kit came with 3" spacers that screw between inner and outer tie rods. I couldn't get the spacer loose so I dropped off the truck and the new tie rods with my mechanic because I figured my wrenches were too small to get good leverage. He messaged me that the spacer seized and broke when trying to take it apart.

I'm waiting for APG to call me back to buy their extended length tie rods.

I thought the new outer tie rods were supposed to work with the factory inner tie rods?

Just got the extended length tie rods from APG overnighted. My truck will be ready for me by the time I get off of work tomorrow.

Got some SVC tie rods for sale!

Extended Length? ...I have the APG stock length Billet Tie rod ends with the Heim joint end on my "mid runner"...APG has an extended length Billet Tie rod with the adjustable end for the " Pro-Runner:" long travel , allowing for more than 3,0" used in that kit..

Not sure what you needed to see..pictures are of driver.side with wheel turned out to full lock position....My alignment guy is across the street from an offroad shop that specializes in extreme suspension set ups...He is very familiar with Heim joints and it still took him several tries and test drives to get the steering wheel centered to his satisfaction...He made the comment that Heim joints are "tricky" to get adjusted properlly...

I never got to actually hold mine they went straight to the mechanic to put on. I would've put them on myself if I knew I was going this route. When I tried, the spacer was seized in the stock outer tie rod.

The picture was posted in the build and project forum..."Whiplash, 1st year of mods" ... which I started April 1st 2022, to show what I had done to the truck in my 1st year of ownership...just coincidence that I did it on April Fools day...was not trying to deceive any one....?....

Got my tie rods installed and my alignment but the mechanic said I need to replace my upper control arm bushings because they have play. Got some at home that I ordered from Dirt King.
