I have to spray some dry lube where the shock mounts to the lower control arm to keep it from squeaking. I just keep a spray can of wd40 dry lube in the truck.
Just to update you guys. The front wasn't squeaking it was my leaf spring front bushings on the deavers. I didn't lube them on install. I wash my uniballs when I wash my truck and they are doing great and never squeak.

The setup is amazing. No sway bar allows for that flex but I'm planted. Every time I go over some different terrain I'm expect a good hit and I brace up for impact and it just soaks it up like I'm on a couch I can't believe it every time. I haven't jumped it but its not crazy built and caged but as a daily toy it's fun. Definitely not the family vehicle lol.

Great minds think alike. Love your setup. I also have the bajakits long travel with the icon 2.5 extended travel. Leaf springs do squeak.. think it comes with the travel. I went with old man emu +2s. I'm still waiting on the bypass kit from baja kits. Last I checked, they said they are still working on it but close to release and the delay was because of the bronco market. I went crazy on my mods, even did a remote transmission cooler. Looking for a rear link kit but it's not out yet either. Keep us updated on anything new. Look forward to seeing more.

How did you end up doing your remote trans cooler? I’ve been trying to figure this out for a year and I absolutely need help. I do a lot of heavy and long towing. The highest temps I’ve seen were 241.

The way I did it was built my own kit. The 10r80 in our rangers is basically the same as the raptor and mustang. Ours uses a heat exchanger that in my opinion is not efficient and will always stay above 200. I removed the exchanger, rerouted the coolant hose that went to the exchanger. Then installed the aftermarket remote connector from a mustang kit, ran the hoses to the bed of the truck, installed a fan temp controller, extra in line trans filter and tied it together with the mishimoto 2 qt cooler and dual fans. Between the 30 ft of trans line added and cooler. I increased fluid by 3 qts over factory. Added a metal pan but not the deep pan. Temps now stay at 165 - 180 on a 70 degree day. If you go crazy it will hit 185 for 3 mins till the fans kick on. They do offer pre made kits for the 10r80 as well but still require rerouting coolant and placing a transmission cooler somewhere.

Sir you are my hero. Seriously thank you so much. I now know that what I originally had planned will work. What adapter did you go with?

Here is the link. I used their fan temp controller as well. Used mishimoto transmission lines and made them with the an fittings. Used some math for the trans lines since they were so long. 30 feet came to 3/4 qts added fluid. I will say that the heat exchanger is a massive pain to remove. Either the shift has to drop or you have to cut the one long flange off. I cut it with a cutting wheel.

is this when you had the ext travel or before?

flex isnt to bad the thing that makes me sad is the rangers geometry just seems to be lacking to get lots of flex like other mid size trucks

How do you like the ride of your suspension? This is basically the exact suspension setup I plan on moving too. Right now I have the Icon "stage 2" with their tubular upper 2.5 coilover and whatever basic shock they include with that kit. I'm looking for a better ride offload especially in the rear. I live in the AZ desert and like bombing offroad. I am impressed how the current setup rides but I know there is a lot of room for improvement!

It's great, if I was to not pick I would have wanted the lower shock mount on the bajakits lower control arm to be pushed out more because they keep the stock location while extending the arms so it's really really soft

Thanks for the reply man! Do you know what spring rate your coils are? Think maybe going with a little heavier coil would help?

Definitely, that's the solution. I'm currently designing my own upper and lower arms that will be fabbed up after Christmas so I'm probably gonna have to buy like a 10" stroke coilover for each side lol only if it fits or I'll do 8" stroke
