You can easily put the key in a vice and drill a nice large enough hole in the opposite corner for your key ring, probably brass material and soft.Forgot to mention:
Using Levitown Parts Pics... The B version is using the exact same keys as my A version.
The only issue with the key is it's a mini version of a typical bike lock key and the opening to place/hold the lock-key to your key ring is TOO small.
I was barely able to get it on my key-ring.
I'm looking for an extra "mini" key ring that were given/installed on the old style Ford FOBs....
Where can you find the A part? Everywhere only has the B part
Find here?

Crying about 75 dollars worth of gas!!
You beat his ass with the said hose? If so pics of the aftermath pleaseCaught a kid in the act with a hose in my tank today at work. It's not a matter of I just want one. I need one. Gas is sky rocketing and it's going to get worse. Talked to 3 dealers today and got three different answers.
Thanks for being the test subject to see if this fits.Looks good. I dont think anyone can really siphon gas out due to the vents on newer gas systems but it will keep anyone from putting sugar, etc into your tank.I ordered the “Genuine OEM Locking Fuel Plug“ from Levittown # BU5Z-9C268-B (thank you Benny!). While the Ranger is not listed as compatible, it is. A bit pricy, but a perfect fit.

Only thing I did not think about before ordering is whether or not evildoers are even able to siphon from the Ranger, but gives me peace of mind and a decent FU if anyone tries.
To reply to my own post...I ordered the "A" part and received the "B" part with the holes. Thanks for testing it out
Anyone know why the -B version has through-holes to the filler neck, while -A does not?
(I ordered the -A)
Was hangin with Jimmy (Farley) and asked him. He said its the new reduced weight version with oxygenation filters which convert regular gas to high octane through proprietary methods. Resulting impact adds 12.6 HP and offsets the added weight and drag of any Ranger with an installed tailgate damper. Those w/o the damper can expect an increase of 23.4 HP.To reply to my own post...I ordered the "A" part and received the "B" part with the holes.
Perhaps A is just not available anymore?
