I thought the fuel necks had some kind of anti-siphon built in. ?
Yes, that's true but, there are people with ingenuity that can still do things to the flapper, they do give, then dump crap into the hole and then when you fill it with gas would be washed down into the tank, also a funnel like ours could be used. I am sure criminals and vandal's already have that problem solved we just don't hear about the capless systems being sabotaged. Just saying Nick.
These capless fills have been around for a while now

My Honda Civic’s gas door locks when the car is locked and unlocks when the car is unlocked. It’s cap less. Simple and peace of mind. It’s not rocket science, come on Ford engineers, make this a non issue.
I was told that the Ranger has a siphon-less system and that a locking gas cap is not necessary...is this true?

Indeed it will, however I am partial to another brand of cordless tools.
FYI, there's been a rash of catalytic converter thefts here, the targets have been lifted 4x4's and Honda Element's
Cordless recipricating saws are the tool of choice, can't wait to read about a would be thief severing a finger off.

I believe so. I sorry about people putting something in my gas. like sugar. .
Exacty....this is my concern, not siphoning.

who are you guys pissing off to the point you worry someone will make the effort to fill your tank with sugar?
Nothing, but there are people who do vandalous things to others property because of jealousy and they just hate others having things they can't have, for example scratching paint jobs, shooting out vehicle windows not only young people do these things but others not so young commit vandalism which is what tampering with cars and capless fillers is all about, yes vehicles have had anti siphoning fillers for a long time and still other things can be done to damage the gas.

One more thing. Every over of us possesses the technology to defeat the check/ball/anti-siphon technology. It's behind your rear seat. That funnel that allows you to fill from a gas can also allows for siphoning.

I think the funnel gets you past the vapor recovery system doors, I don't think it moves the ball.

Now that I think about it, you may be right. That ball is fairly deep.
