Doubtful, the Dana 44 and Dana 44a/M220 are different differentials.
Also to add I'm pretty sure we have a 32 spline instead of a 30 spline in the non locker trucks.

Be advised that most LSDs have clutch packs and those clutches wear out around 70K and need replacing. It's not cheap. That said, for most daily driving a LSD is more suitable than the lockers on today's trucks. Personally, for the driving I do, I would much rather have torque vectoring electronics than the locker. I installed an Eaton locker on my '05 and only used it twice - not worth the $900 it cost.

I can agree that a locker is not for everyone. If I'm not mistaken Ford Performance is already working on a Torsen diff for the rear. I myself prefer the Torsen over a clutch style since they are maintenance free(excluding regular fluid changes).

That is more or less the same answer I got on it. If and when they do is the question and with Covid it really is a question with new stuff for our trucks and other things.

Has anyone figured out a limited slip differential yet for the rear axle? I have seen the air lockers and talk of retrofitting with the FX4 electro-locker. However, I would prefer an LSD in the Iowa climate. Please share if you have figured out the parts. Oh, and I did call Dana but they wouldn't talk to me because I am not a reseller. The guy was actually pretty rude. Thanks in advance for any information.

Jim

Hello! Hope you guys are doing well. Just wanted to get you guys opinion on this Harrop product.

https://www.harrop.com.au/shop/truetrac-ford-ranger-px-rear

Would this be an option? Thanks for the help! Have a good day.
You would need to contact Harrop on thus and see. Too my understanding it most likely will not as the axles are different in the rear compared to the Australian models. Also they get thier stuff from Eaton wich is good stuff!!

Lots of CASH!
One question... How will it affect the performance of the stock electronics?

Heard back from Harrop and they said it should fit the open diffs. It's a lot of cash but at least we're headed in the right track lol and it's from Eaton
