The manual states that both the headlights and fog lights, if LED, are not replaceable. It says to take it to the dealer, but I'd assume you need to replace the entire assembly.

The fog lights on my Lariat look LED to me and my window sticker says they are LED.

Replacing LED Headlamp Bulbs
All bulbs in this assembly except for the
direction indicator bulb are LED. If an LED
fails have your vehicle checked as soon as
possible. Contact an authorized dealer

Thanks Rob, thats what I thought. Mine seemed to be LED and look bright when you look directly at them but they dont put a lot of light on the road. It looks like I can replace the whole assembly to improve light output. Thanks again, Bret

The fog lights on my 2020 Lariat are LED and the bulbs can't be changed. I wanted to replace them with yellow bulbs but my ford dealer said nope. You need to replace the whole fog light. I will be changing to the Rigid Yellow ones eventually. Also on mine the bed light and extra brake light are LED. When I pulled that apart there appears to be just circuit boards. They seem pretty bright anyway. The turn signals are regular bulb. Why can't ford go the whole meal deal and make it all or none for LED's????

I am going to try out these (link) LED turn signal lights for my Lariat.

They have built in resistors that should eliminate the hyperflash. Will report back tomorrow or Sunday AM on install, quality, and errors.

Lariat, 3rd brake is all LED in other trim models it's not.
Bed lights can be added with different systems. I've used LED strips and will be adding one under the hood this week too.
Front turn signals can be changed but will cause a hyper-blink on the dash but not on the outside of the vehicle unless Forscan is tweaked which some of the guys have done and played with.
Please provide details for your under hood lighting.

(another cheap part that should have been standard from the factory on a $45K Lariat)

I have them in another brand that can be had cheaper, they do not hyper flash (I have ForScan so it wouldn't have mattered) and are exceptionally bright, quality is really good on par with sylvania and osram aftermarket stuff.

I have had these for 2 months in my Lariat headlights. Very bright, appear well built and no hyperflash (Note as these are single filament they won't work in non lariat headlights).
Someone on another thread asked me about hyperflash after being on for extended time. I did a quick test and had no hyperflash after leaving turn signal on for 3 or 4 min and then flashers on for 5.

led turn signals work great and are bright like you said micI9. No hyperflash. Now just waiting on the license plate lights, mirror side lights, and fender side marker lights.

I have a 19’ Lariat and I changed all my halogens to LED’s from Diode Dynamics except the puddle lights, I got those from Drive Bright. They came with 2 free license plate LED’s. The Drive Bright puddle lights are very bright! I also upgraded the driving lights to the SS3 Max.

Can someone provide a link for LED puddle lights? I pulled some up on Amazon and is says “will not fit your 2019 ranger”. I have a lariat and am going total LED.
Thanks much,
Dan

I think it is the following:
  • Puddle lights on side view mirrors
  • Turn signal lights on side view mirrors
  • Side marker lights
  • License plate lights
I've heard people say the bed and or 3rd brake light are not LED, but they look LED to me.
Also front turn signals.

Digging up an old thread and not even reading the whole thing before adding to it.
But it will get Bobby-c and my post count up.
