It looks like it’s just one small segment of my LED that is flickering. Would that not possibly be the LED itself?

Most, likely the LED itself, but I believe that specific spot is possibly the wiring input base to feed the tube, either way the LED itself or another factor, it is a voltage fluctuation within that circuit that is causing the flicker, I just find it odd that (2) trucks are doing the same thing but separate sides, hopefully just a re-seat of a connector will fix the issue Other than reseating the connector, it will need a Scanner and a Voltmeter to diagnose the voltage issue and or Forscan and review changes made related to the DRL'sFactory LED Headlights should read these Lines of Hex Code: Exactly or if using the Easy Way, reference my thread on the headlights in Forscan WIKI
FYI, you can enter Enginering Mode this way:

Left IPC, Display - (Using Engineering Mode)

Another way to view the voltage is by using the Engineering Mode in the IPC. – Note: You will be using the Left Screen, so its normal display is not viewable

Not much in here, just a bunch of program codes, but there are a few key parameters that are nice to see and they are, Digital Readings for Engine Coolant, Tachometer and Battery Voltage, there is also a setting that can be changed and that is AFE (Avg Fuel Economy) Bias, this setting can be adjusted if you are having a huge difference in your MPG calculations, Truck vs Hand Calculations. I don’t know any specifics on this, on how to change it. As, I have not researched that deep into it. I just know it’s there.

To Enter Engineering Mode:

1. Get in Truck and Close the Doors
2. Press and (HOLD) the left steering wheel (OK) button for 5 seconds.
3. Put Truck in (ASSY) mode.
4. Release the left (OK) button.
5. The Engineering Mode: Is displayed.
6. Press (Brake Pedal) and start truck and using the left steering wheel up and down buttons to scroll through the display.
7. To Exit: Just shut off truck and restart, you are now in normal mode.

Is it something that should be covered under warranty? Like, will a dealership fix it just because it flickers?

i would assume if the vehicle is still under waranty, it cover the headlight since the LED is not replacable

Further follow up on this… can anyone tell me if they think my headlights are (or are not) OEM Ford headlamp assemblies? And if they aren’t, does anyone know which manufacturer/model they might be? This is my first truck in years, bought it barely used (3 months old with 4K miles) so I just assumed it was all factory, but I’ve been reading that some lariats shipped with halogens from the factory due to supply shortages. Any help is appreciated!

My 21 xlt tremor occasionally flickers. Like once every hundred miles. Only noticed with led drop ins. Halogens weren't bright enough to notice a flicker if it ever happened.

It’ll be fun trying to replace if I need to. I have a lariat that apparently came with halogen. The LEDs that appear to match mine say they are only for XL/XLT. Maybe that’s because the internals of a “normal” lariat wouldn’t work and hopefully my “abnormal” lariat will work with them.

Probably why your are getting the static and they are blinking.
