Ya that horn is loud. The seat belt needs to be louder and start sooner. Wife needs more incentive.

Nice Seth,it will be my next mod. Im tired of the panic alarm. BretI just took apart the fob pulled the button out and filed down the pin in the middle of the button and reinstalled the button to the fob = no more honking truck.
There is a video of a guy with a F150 that has the same fob on Youtube and that is where I got the instructions.Nice Seth,it will be my next mod. Im tired of the panic alarm. Bret
I had the same problem, bought one of these. $7.99Does anyone else accidentally hit the panic button often? I’ve done it more times with the Ranger fob in my pocket than any vehicle I’ve owned before this combined!
I have the Lariat remote start fob if that changes anything. Would a cover help?
OK, where did you get this? Looks like it will work.

Fit perfect, and haven't had the problem since.
I just ordered 2 of these. Seems the wife has a cluttered purse and every once & awhile the horn will sound when she's searching for something in it.
Also a back story if you will: Once owned a 98 GMC. Had an aftermarket alarm installed. We were driving down the highway and the doors started locking & unlocking & the lights started flashing.
Yep, you guessed it. Keys in wife's purse were activating the alarm!!!
