Yes mine also came with the removable light, I found it hard to find in the dark, installed the bigger led lights with a door switch so it lights up as soon as you open the cover..

Yes remove tire, pull most of the flap out of the way and get a bright flash light. The video shows a silver hose, mine had a black cover over it, Making it harder to find.
