Stick with your Cardiologist, I’m sure she is on some Diuretics (IE) Lasix or HCTZ, and some drug to increase Force of Contraction (IE) Digitalis and should lose weight if she can. But by all means her Cardiologist Knows best.I may need your help @Doc My wife was diagnosed with heart failure a few months ago and there is nothing they can do for her other than a transplant. When we were teenagers she was diagnosed with Leukemia and she was given less than a 5% chance to survive. Well 30 years and 3 sons later her left ventricle is operating at 15 to 20 percent and they know it is from the chemotherapy she had back then. However, she has beaten so much in her life we know this is just another bump in the road and she will beat this too.
