And this appears to back up the conclusion thus far - the Clutch Fan itself is not failing or wearing it's the hose deterioration.
Now it is still possible for some wear creating some extra rotational stress but with - Thus far no major reports of any failure codes or issues with the Clutch Fan itself, tells me that it is a solid reliable part and the only reports that I recall seeing of codes or issues shows the hose broken and with your (TEST) it clearly shows that the hose does see a fair amount of stress applied against it.
So, with that (if the hose was a better quality) then we would most likely not see the issues that we have.

Thanks for the extra step?
I'm not sure what delicate equipment would see .22inch-pounds as a "fair amount" of stress, but surely in our case wouldn't that be negligible?

And that stress is focused at the flex points of the hose, right at the end of studs.

I just the same fix as Ramong. I just happened to be emptying the Ford Performance catch can when I noticed the hose was in 2 pieces. I just put some regular old 3/8" fuel hose in it's place with the same clamp on the fan end and a new worm drive clamp on the anchor. I'm feeling tremendously lucky right now.

Working on my Ranger today and as I'm standing on a milk crate stretched out over the engine, arms twisted up in positions they weren't designed for. .... A broken hose catches my eye. The one on the fan 😮. The tip of it broke off the metal nub. I cut the end off, put it back on and zip tied it. The crimp on the other end is loose. It zhould hold till I drive to the parts store to get 3/8 fuel line.

Now if I can just get this turbo inlet tube replaced....
