In researching 'chips' including for my wife's Honda these types appear to be a total waste of money.

Doing a brief Google search shows that it just leans out your engine. That's how you 'gain' mpg. I would hard pass.

Run Away !

I work with a woman that tried one of these on her Dodge Ram. She liked it at first. Then she started having problems (rough idle, inconsistent throttle response). She got rid of it when it started throwing codes.

The key words are, "Up to". if you're getting 10mpg, and plug this thing in, and your MPG goes to 10.2 MPG, they will tell you it's working and decline a refund. keep walking, and work on your driving habits. If you find lessons on that, let me know, I apparently need them too.

I do use a Raxiom Speedform Throttle Signal Controller. I definitely has an affect on the speed of your throttle response. I've driven with it in ECO mode which is supposed to help conserve fuel. It did nothing to help my MPG. The only use I have for that device is when I'm in "Race Mode" shredding a "mini Crandon" course I laid out at the off-road park. Not too many jumps but lots of wide flat sweeping corners you can hit at WOT and not have to lift. I really should film that shit. But otherwise,,, the device is useless.
