Have the axle level when you are installing or it will be hard to get the leaf packs to line up, get some grease, be sure to have the proper tools before starting, have jackstands, consider doing the bump stops at the same time so they don't limit your new leafs. Good luck with install!

Top shackle eye bolt 119 ft lbs. UBolts 98 ft lbs....breaker bar, 1/2" drive big, long torque wrench, and an extra jack or 2 make things alot easier...

I gave all the bushings a shot of WD 40 Dry Lube , used blue Locktite on all bolts....I have had no squeaks, or anything get loose in the 7 months since my install....

how long did it take you all’s springs to settle out to the 3/8” they claim? im reading a lot about them sitting higher than documented.

1500 miles and still waiting, and I have been throwing 300lb loads in for most of that. It might take a while. Although I did option #2.

- Toss a couple swing boxes in and put some fun stuff in them. That should help. ;) (just trying to help you spend more)

so it took about 2 hrs to do. 1.5 hrs drivers side, 30 minutes for the passenger. (always how it works out)

it’s dead level out back- no lean so that’s nice. it’s about 2” high right now. i tossed 180lbs of olympic plates in the back.

they are very smooth though. very. i feel like i can relax now and not tense up for bumps.

My personal experience, 7 months...

Installed as shipped, did not add or swap in the extra leaf....height after install +1.25" .... added 350 lbs. Of sand bags to bed....drove for 3 months,500 miles.....removed sand remeasured height......+ 7/8"....so, after 7 months, half that time weight in the bed , my,leaf pack only SETTLED 3/8" ... I was able to raise the level of my front coilovers from 2.5" to 3.0" to level it to only. 5" of front/rear rake....

To get the Springs to the advertised 3/8" of + height is going to take more drastic measures, perhaps 800 lbs. for a year ??..

Park on a slight incline and you won't even see the rake ?

ok, so after hauling around 450 lbs for a week, not much height drop. still at 25” hub to fender.
icon said it could take 1500-2000 miles of only street driving for them to settle to advertised height. thats a bit unacceptable, and they should note that in the instructions.

so…i’ve heard of some people flat out removing the third leaf and it working well. anyone here done that? seems like that’s my next option other that pulling them and tossing stock springs back in. (i really don’t want to do that, these are really smooth, just don’t want the lift im getting out of them)

Just take your rig offroad. Mine settled in very quickly. Nothing beats up suspension like hauling butt over some washboard or heavy articulation. I had 200 - 400lbs of gear in the bed and my OME leaf pack settled in after a couple of weeks with some hard offroading. I suspect that OME is stiffer than Icon so you shouldn't have an issue
