Yesterday my truck went limp mode on i75 which is no joke so I pulled off while getting error warning messages check advancetrac, check 4x4, traction control off, oil pressure low. A few days ago I posted about I noise I was hearing when accelerating a highway speeds and it went away for a day but I'm sure thats related. Well I was able to get it home and I'm looking up places to take it in the Atlanta area, and checking fuses and stuff and now it won't fire up it just keeps cranking. Also like 2 weeks ago I changed the egr senser to stop the bucking which it did stop but Im not sure if related. I also noticed the fan clutch harness was disentigrated which is a common topic here I found out but it seems the wiring is fine. Anyways not a great day for me I really like this truck but this is just crazy l. Sorry for the long story

I'd definitely go back in there and take a very close look at everything you touched when you did this job. Your truck has fewer miles than my 2022 so I'm hoping for you that this is a "loose wire" situation.

Check the DTC codes and report them here. Use Forscan and adapter for reading the codes. Double-check the fan clutch wiring harness for having worn through spots and bare or broken wires.

Also check Fuse F12 in the battery junction box (BJB) for being blown. It supplies power to the oil pump solenoid control and the cooling fan clutch. If the fan clutch wiring has rubbed through and shorted to ground, this fuse often blows.

I had a nearly identical issue. It was the cheap EGR valve I used to replace mine. It created a short and every sensor on that 12v bus stopped working. It was a variety of messages on the dash. Unplug your new sensor and see what happens.

This is probably too simple, but I left a cable on the battery + terminal block loose after a battery replacement. The nut was in place, but loose. The truck ran fine for several weeks, but when I hit hard bumps the engine would die momentarily, several failure messages would appear and everything went back to normal until the next hard bump. I found the loose fastener and all has been good.

Rockauto was out so i bought one off amazon for $20 or so. It looked identical to the OEM one I removed.

The damned electronic Banal Superfluity, it'll gitcha every time!
What happened to the ol' days of carbs, points, distributor, condenser and a 4 or 5 spd manual? The USGovernment: Their way and no other way, is what happened under Clinton and Obammy.

Ahh yes, all cars had points/condenser and manuals until Clinton was elected. :eyeroll: I'm against over electrification of cars as much as the next guy, and I'm also against over-regulation of vehicle design, but saying dumb crap like this makes you lose all credibility. Not everything is a liberal conspiracy.

Sometime ago vehicles hit their sweet spot in my mind. Our '89 Durango was close. Bullet proof push rod V8 with a chain driven single cam. MPI that mostly relied on 02 sensors and throttle position sensor driven by my right foot. Hyd governor that controlled the trans.
More stringent EPA emissions and fuel efficiency rules changed that. I like the increased power density and fuel economy of today's vehicles, but the complexity of the ECU and drivetrain inputs/outputs has put most DIY owners out of business. ....also many factory techs struggle with it.
