I've driven about 1000 miles in the last 2 months. March 13th was the last day I commuted normally. I've been fortunate to be able to do about 98% of my job remotely from home, so haven't needed to commute (and am happy to still be employed). I typically had driven about 1000-1200 miles/month just commuting then typically drive 2-3 ~3000mile trips per year, so about 23-25,000 miles/year. I'll definitely be way below that this year.

Finally got to drive in today to move a few prototype vehicles around and get ready for our test labs opening back up next week. Was nice to actually get out and drive a little, even if it was just to go to work! (also hit 14,000 miles on the way back home)

That is my tip of the hat to the ignorance that is going on in Illinois, 3 weeks ago, you could not buy plants for your vegetable garden but you could still buy wind chimes among many other non essential items. Our state representative did a live feed from our local farm store on the subject and gave out the governor's cell phone number, that evening the OK was given for greenhouses to start selling again.

I put on about 200 miles in the last 2 months, Starting to worry about my gas getting old.

What's everyone's favorite gas treatment, Sea Foam or Stabil?

I've always used Stabil and had good luck with it. My snowmobiles would sit the longest sometimes 9-10 months and would always start right up and never had any carb problems from gumming up.

I wouldn't think 2-3 months of letting the gas sit will do any harm or be anything to worry about. That being said, I always go with Stabil on my seasonal motors (lawnmower, snowblower, etc.).

I got my truck on February 5 and now have about 1100 miles on it. As far as fuel stabilizers go, I've used Lucas for years. So far, it's worked well.

I actually have some Stabil to use in my lawn mower and snow blower for seasonal, but even that stuff is old. II think about 2 years old now. I only use a tiny bit in those units every year. I might have to put it aside for the hazardous chems disposal and get some new stuff.

HI Folks,

Went out into BFE today with the Ranger. Wife and I drove to Morning Star Ranch development. This development is down poor roads with some dirt road portions. The development is houses on a minimum 36 acres and houses are in the $1 to $3 million range, a minimum of 3000 sq ft. Drive to the mailbox is 30 minutes. To a convenience store, over an hour. This is in desert hill country and the Ranger handled the pot holes and washouts with ease as the FX4 is in its country, not city streets... Nice outing and likely put about 150 miles on the truck driving around out there in the boonies. Occitillo and other cactus are in bloom now so nice pretty drive. Wife and I decided that at our age it is foolish to live that far out from a hospital. Local fire dept has a helicopter staged but the drive from the Ranch to the helicopter is still half an hour.... Strange place for high end housing. Construction prices are through the roof due to the distance stuff has to be hauled including concrete for example. Very steep twisty downhill and up hill portions of the road as well. Must be for the "Rich and Famous", but my neighbor is in real estate is listing a property there for a single lady who is neither rich or famous... Anyway to BFE and back home...nice break for us and burned up about ¼ tank of fuel.

I was essential enough to not be able to work from home, so I drive at least 60 miles a day/5 days a week.
A quick calculation: Owned the truck for 284 days and 25,965 miles = 91.42 miles/day
This included a 5000+ mile round trip from AZ to ND and back and a 2000+ mile round trip from AZ to TX.
I guess this could also be posted on the How long for the Ranger smile to fade? thead to point out that there is no fade
