I have a BAK Revolver 4. It leakes some up front. My other truck has a Truxedo roll up. It leaks a bit at the front too. All in all, neither roll up has been great, and from now on I’ll likely buy folders.

Asking those who have leaks at the front corners.... did your tonneau not come with 2 pieces of dense closed cell foam inserts for each corner to help seal? My Trifecta did and I know I didn't fuss over placing them all that perfectly and I still don't have any leaks at front corners.

I bought mine used. I didnt get foam from the last guy. I used a cut chunk of pool noodle and 2 inch electric tape to seal what I could.

I sprayed mine with 303 fabric spray yesterday (again). I ran the hose over the canvas. No leaks in the front. I suspect that the rain has been soaking through the canvas on to the metal slats and running to the edge tracks.

The BAK came with foam, the Truxedo did not. I’ve added additional weather stripping, but both still leak, and both have had durability issues. Neither manufacturer has provided great support in my case. As I said, no more roll ups for me.

My Gator EFX hard cover has not leaked at all. There are some short sections of hose that come with it to drain water from the side rails and you stick them into holes in the bed to drain to ground. I just moved it over to my 6g, and had to get some new foam tape to seal the front seal to the bed. It is pretty water tight on the new truck too. I like that IF any water gets in the side rails, it drains to the ground, like rain spouting! I have a new gasket to seal around the tailgate as you can see thru there, but am not sure if I'll ever use it, I haul stuff. Any leakage at the tailgate sides and bottom is only a drip or 2. 4 1/2 years on my 5g and now recycled on the new truck...yes I haul stuff a lot, only remove the cover if I need to, otherwise just fold it back. Easy off and on, 4 thumb knobs, 2 each side, I have it down to a science.

I have a second hand gator trifold and I am missing the front seal. Shockingly it is bone dry all the time.

I get a fair amount of water that comes in the gaps around the tailgate but otherwise the leakage around the perimeter of the bed in quite minimal. Anything that is more than 6 - 8 inches from the rear corners of the bed will stay dry even in heavy rain.

I think washing the truck is a different story, since the pressure washer literally sprays in sideways.

I have a bakflip mx4.
I have the bakflip mx4 also and it doesn't leak at all, even going through the car wash. I don't have any gaps near the tailgate. Maybe re-align the rails to reposition the top? Sounds like a PITA.

Would you mind showing pics of how you sealed all the gaps around the tailgate ?

It is not a gap with the tonneau and the tailgate, the sides of the tailgate are not sealed to the bed.

I figured that out after looking at it. Thanks for the clarification. Mine doesn't leak but there aren't any seals around the tailgate.

I have a truxedo roll-up cover that leaks a lot. The header seal is new and I am wondering if the water is coming in around the plastic bed rails.
Mine leaks at the back both sides, and toward the front below the window a little. I'm assuming they all leak.
